The bimetal thermometer operates based on the principle of differential thermal expansion of metals. Its core consists of a spiral bimetallic element composed of two metal strips with different coefficients of expansion (typically brass and Invar alloy) bonded together. When temperature changes, the bimetallic strip bends and deforms due to the differing expansion rates, rotating the pointer shaft. This mechanical displacement is amplified through gear transmission and directly drives the pointer to indicate the temperature value on the dial.

The Model 55 bimetal thermometer has been developed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13190 standards. The high-quality thermometer design is particularly suited to the application requirements of the process industry. It is especially well-suited for the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, and power industries, where all-stainless steel temperature measuring instruments have been successfully applied.
