pH/ORP Module: Utilizes potentiometric analysis. pH Measurement: The potential difference between a glass electrode (measurement electrode) and a reference electrode is measured. This potential difference is logarithmically related to the hydrogen ion concentration in the solution (i.e., acidity), and the pH value is calculated accordingly. ORP Measurement: The potential difference between the measurement electrode and the reference electrode is measured, directly reflecting the oxidizing or reducing strength of the solution. Conductivity Module: An alternating voltage is applied to the electrodes in the solution, and the current passing through the solution is measured. According to Ohm's law (resistance = voltage/current), the resistance of the solution is calculated, and then converted to conductivity using the electrode constant. Dissolved Oxygen Module: The sensor membrane isolates the electrode from the solution. Oxygen diffuses through the membrane to the electrode, where a reduction reaction occurs at the cathode, generating a current. The magnitude of this current is proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen, and the dissolved oxygen content can be calculated by measuring the current.
