Sensors (such as pH electrodes, conductivity electrodes, and dissolved oxygen probes) are immersed in liquids and generate corresponding electrical signals based on the physical or chemical properties of the measured medium. The high-precision circuitry inside the FLXA402 amplifies and filters the weak signals sent by the sensors, and converts them into digital signals through analog-to-digital conversion (ADC). The microprocessor calculates the digital signals according to preset algorithms (such as the Nernst equation, temperature compensation curves, etc.) to obtain the final pH value, conductivity value, or dissolved oxygen concentration. The calculation results are then converted into standard 4-20 mA analog signals or Modbus/HART digital signals for transmission to the control system or host computer.

The core use case is water quality monitoring and quality control in industrial process control. It is widely applied in industries such as power generation, water supply, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, semiconductors, food, pharmaceuticals, steel, pulp and paper, petroleum, petrochemicals, and fine chemicals, mainly for the quality control of raw materials and products as well as water quality management during wastewater treatment processes.
