ZR202

The measurement principle of the ZR202 is based on the zirconia oxygen concentration cell effect. Its core lies in utilizing the characteristic of zirconia ceramic to become an oxygen ion conductor at high temperatures (typically heated to 750℃). When there is a difference in oxygen concentration on both sides of the sensor (reference side and measuring side), oxygen ions will migrate directionally, thereby generating an electromotive force (millivolt signal) between the two electrodes that is proportional to the oxygen concentration difference. The instrument detects this potential and calculates the oxygen concentration in the sample gas according to the Nernst equation.

ZR202 is mainly used for industrial combustion control and safety monitoring. Its typical applications include: in boilers, furnaces, kilns, and other combustion equipment, optimizing the air-fuel ratio by real-time monitoring of oxygen content in flue gas, thereby improving combustion efficiency and reducing energy consumption; in process industries such as chemical and petrochemical industries, monitoring the oxygen concentration in reactors or pipelines to prevent explosion risks or ensure process safety; additionally, it is also commonly used in occasions requiring inert gas protection, such as air separation nitrogen production and food packaging, to ensure that the oxygen content in the environment meets process requirements.
