ZR22

The measurement principle of the ZR22 is based on the zirconia oxygen concentration cell effect. Its core lies in utilizing the characteristic of zirconia ceramic to become an oxygen ion conductor at high temperatures (typically heated to 650-750°C). When there is a difference in oxygen concentration on both sides of the sensor (reference side and measurement side), oxygen ions migrate directionally, generating an electromotive force (millivolt signal) between the two electrodes that is proportional to the oxygen concentration difference. The instrument detects this potential and calculates the oxygen concentration in the sample gas according to the Nernst equation.

The ZR22 series products (including ZR22G, ZR22S, etc.) are primarily used for industrial combustion control and safety monitoring. Typical application scenarios include: optimizing the air-fuel ratio in boilers, heaters, kilns, and other combustion equipment through real-time monitoring of oxygen content in flue gas, improving combustion efficiency and reducing energy consumption; monitoring oxygen concentration in reactors or pipelines in chemical, petrochemical, and other process industries to prevent explosion hazards or ensure process safety; additionally, they are often used in applications requiring inert gas protection, such as air separation nitrogen production and food packaging, ensuring that the oxygen content in the environment meets process requirements.
