The measurement principle is based on Ohm's law. The instrument applies an AC voltage of known frequency to electrodes immersed in the solution, and the resistance of the solution is calculated by measuring the current generated between the electrodes. The resistance value is then converted into conductivity (S/cm) according to the electrode constant (K), and temperature compensation is automatically applied to provide the standard value at 25°C.

The core use scenarios are on-site rapid testing and mobile inspections, widely applied in environmental monitoring (assessment of surface water, groundwater, and wastewater discharge water quality), industrial process control (spot checks of boiler feed water, cooling water, brine concentration, plating solutions, and chemical reaction liquids), as well as in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries (conductivity compliance verification of purified water, water for injection, and raw material solutions). Its IP67 waterproof and dustproof features make it particularly suitable for use as a daily measurement partner in outdoor or harsh industrial environments.
