SC42

The SC42 contact-type sensor is a conductivity sensor whose measurement principle is based on Ohm's law. The sensor applies an alternating voltage of a specific frequency to two (or four) electrodes immersed in the solution, using the solution itself as a conductive medium to form a closed circuit. By measuring the current generated between the electrodes, the resistance of the solution is calculated and then converted into the solution's conductivity based on the known electrode constant, thereby reflecting the total ion concentration or the water quality purity of the solution.

The SC42 contact sensor is primarily used for water quality monitoring and process control in the semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Typical applications include purity monitoring of ultrapure water systems, leak detection in boiler feedwater and condensate recycling, control of ion exchange resin regeneration, compliance verification of pharmaceutical injection water, as well as concentration measurement of high-concentration acid and alkaline solutions or high-temperature and high-pressure process fluids.
