Measuring principle:
The ROTAMASS Supreme measures based on the Coriolis effect. The measuring tube within its sensor is excited into high-frequency vibration by a drive coil. When fluid flows through, the Coriolis force causes a phase difference (twist) between the inlet and outlet sections that is proportional to the mass flow, allowing the mass flow to be calculated directly by detecting this signal. At the same time, changes in the fluid density alter the natural frequency of the measuring tube's vibration, enabling the simultaneous calculation of fluid density, thus achieving "dual measurement in one instrument."
