GD40

The GD40 series gas density detector utilizes the vibrating density measurement principle. Its core sensor is a thin-walled cylindrical resonant cavity, which is excited electromagnetically to vibrate at its natural frequency. When the cavity is filled with the gas to be measured, the gas density alters the equivalent mass of the resonant cavity, thereby causing a change in the vibration frequency. The instrument directly calculates the absolute density of the gas by accurately measuring this frequency shift, without the need for temperature or pressure compensation, and features strong anti-interference ability and fast response speed.

The GD40 series gas density detectors are mainly used in the fields of natural gas, chemical industry, electric power, and industrial gases, for the online monitoring of the absolute density of gases in pipelines or equipment. In natural gas trade metering, they are used to convert volumetric flow into energy measurement; in chemical processes, they are used to monitor reaction gas concentrations, control the mixing ratio of gases, and detect gas purity; in the electric power industry, they are primarily used for the density monitoring of SF6 gas-insulated equipment to ensure insulation performance. In addition, they are widely applied in quality control and process safety protection during the production, storage, and transportation of industrial gases such as air separation, hydrogen production, and liquefied gases.
