Measuring principle:
The measurement principle of Emerson 8750W electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which states that when conductive liquid flows through the sensor, it will cut the magnetic field lines and generate an induced electromotive force proportional to the flow rate. Inside the sensor, there is a pair of coils located on both sides. When powered on, they generate a magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction. Meanwhile, a pair of electrodes perpendicular to the coil are in contact with the liquid and are responsible for detecting the induced voltage generated. Subsequently, the transmitter converts this weak voltage signal into a standard flow reading for display or output to the control system. The entire process has no flow-blocking components. It is combined with an insulating lining to prevent signal short circuits and ensures long-term reliability through designs such as a dual-chamber transmitter housing.
