Measuring principle:
The measuring principle of the Emerson Micro Motion Model 1700 flowmeter is based on the Coriolis effect. As fluid flows through the U‑shaped or V‑shaped vibrating measuring tube driven by the driver, Coriolis force is generated, causing the measuring tube to twist. Sensors detect the phase difference resulting from this twist. Via its proprietary MVD (Multi‑Variable Digital) processing technology, the transmitter directly processes the phase‑difference signal and outputs accurate mass flow, while simultaneously measuring the density and temperature of the fluid.
