Sheaths are critical accessories for temperature measurement applications. They not only isolate corrosive, high-pressure and high-flow media from the temperature sensor body, but also separate the measuring assembly from the surrounding environment. This allows operators to replace or conduct routine maintenance on thermometers without shutting down production lines. Welded tube sheaths offer superior cost efficiency and are commonly used under atmospheric pressure. Versions made of special materials can be applied to media at ultra-high temperatures.
