Measuring principle:

The OPTIWAVE 1540 is a 2-wire 80 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for high-accuracy applications with liquids, granulates and bulk solids. The device achieves ±2 mm (±0.08") standard accuracy (up to ±1 mm laboratory grade optional) using a flush-mounted PEEK Lens antenna. Measuring range 0-30 m, process temperature -25 to +80°C (high temperature version to +150°C), process pressure -1 to 40 bar. MI-005/MI-002/OIML R117-1 custody transfer certifications available for precision inventory and filling applications.
