CLS21E

Two electrodes immersed in the process medium measure the electrical conductivity of the liquid. An AC voltage applied across the electrodes generates a current through the medium. According to Ohm’s law, the resistance or conductance G (the reciprocal of resistance) is calculated. The cell constant k, determined by the sensor geometry, is used to calculate the conductivity of the process medium from the measured conductance.
