CLS21

Two electrodes immersed in the process medium measure the electrical conductivity of the liquid. An AC voltage applied across the electrodes generates a current through the medium. According to Ohm’s law, the resistance or conductance G (the reciprocal of resistance) is calculated. The cell constant k, which is determined by the sensor geometry, is used to calculate the conductivity of the medium from the measured conductance.
