Measuring principle:
Colorimetric measurement is based on a chemical reaction between the sample and specific reagents. After sample conditioning, part of the filtered sample is pumped into a mixing or reaction chamber, where digestion reagents are added at high temperature. A color reagent is then precisely dosed at a defined ratio, producing a characteristic color. A full-spectrum photometer measures the absorbance at selected wavelengths, which is proportional to the concentration of the target parameter. A reference measurement compensates for interference, while constant photometer temperature ensures stable and reproducible results.
