Colorimetric measurement is based on a chemical reaction between the sample and a specific reagent. After sample conditioning, a filtered sample is pumped into the mixing or reaction chamber, where the reagent is precisely dosed at a defined ratio. The reaction produces a characteristic color. A full-spectrum photometer measures the absorbance at specific wavelengths. The absorbance and its spectral relationships are proportional to the concentration of the target parameter. A reference measurement is performed to compensate for interference, and the reference signal is subtracted from the measurement signal. Constant photometer temperature ensures stable and reproducible results.
