Measuring principle:

Inline Thermal Mass Flowmeters operate via the thermal diffusion principle. The sensor is composed of two platinum RTDs immersed in process fluid; one is heated while the other senses fluid temperature. The temperature differential between the two RTDs depends on flow velocity and fluid properties, with two measurement modes: constant temperature differential and constant power.
