Measuring principle:
Radar measurement is based on the time-of-flight (ToF) principle. The antenna transmits a short pulse that reflects from the medium surface and returns to the radar level transmitter. By measuring the time difference between transmission and reception, the instrument calculates the distance and determines the actual level based on the preset empty-tank height. ToF technology is cost-effective and suitable for short-range measurement.
