Measuring principle:
Radar measurement is based on the frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) principle. The antenna transmits a continuously frequency-swept signal, and the reflected signal is mixed with the reference signal to generate a beat frequency. The instrument calculates the time of flight from the beat frequency difference and determines the distance to the medium surface, enabling accurate level measurement. FMCW technology provides strong interference resistance and high measurement accuracy, but generally at a higher cost.
