The tuning fork measurement principle is based on a vibrating fork driven by piezoelectric crystals at its resonance frequency. When the fork contacts the medium, increased damping causes the vibration amplitude to decrease and the frequency to shift. The integrated electronics continuously monitor vibration changes and trigger the switching signal when the predefined threshold is reached. Key advantages include fast response, wear-free solid-state design, and reliable level detection for liquids and granular solids. Typical applications include chemical storage tanks, wastewater treatment, and food industry level control.
