Capacitive level measurement is based on the principle that changes in material level cause variations in capacitance. The core principle is to determine the material position by detecting the capacitance change between the sensor probe and the measured medium. When the medium approaches the sensor, it changes the distribution of the existing electric field, resulting in a change in capacitance. This change is detected by the electronic circuit and converted into an electrical signal. When the signal reaches the predefined threshold, the instrument triggers a switch output signal.

Liquicap FTI51 uses a rod probe design for point level detection of high-viscosity and adhesive liquids. It is also suitable for interface detection and foam detection in conductive liquids.
