Capacitive level measurement is based on the principle that changes in material level cause variations in capacitance. The core measurement principle is to detect the capacitance change between the sensor probe and the measured medium to determine the material position. When the medium approaches the sensor, it changes the distribution of the original electric field, resulting in a change in capacitance. This variation is detected by the electronic circuit and converted into an electrical signal. When the signal reaches the predefined switching threshold, the instrument triggers a switch output signal.
