Gamma radiation is attenuated when passing through materials. The radiation-based level limit detection principle determines the medium presence by measuring changes in radiation intensity. • The attenuation depends on material density (ρ), thickness (d), and linear attenuation coefficient (µ) • The Gamma source and Gammapilot are installed opposite each other at the required detection point • When the radiation path is clear, FTG20 counting rate reaches the maximum value • When the radiation path is covered by the medium, radiation attenuation increases and FTG20 counting rate decreases • µ and d remain constant during measurement, and radiation intensity changes only with the measured medium level
