FTL63

The tuning fork measurement principle is based on a vibrating rod driven by a piezoelectric crystal, which oscillates at its resonance frequency. When the tuning fork comes into contact with the liquid, the adhesion force of the medium significantly increases the damping effect, resulting in a decrease in vibration amplitude and a shift in frequency. For solid level detection, the tuning fork requires a special design (such as an extended fork length). When the fork is completely covered by the material, the vibration amplitude decreases significantly, triggering a switching signal. The built-in electronic circuit continuously monitors changes in vibration parameters and activates the relay output signal through threshold comparison. Key advantages include non-contact detection (only the fork tip contacts the medium), a fully solid-state wear-free design, and fast response time. It is suitable for level monitoring of liquids and granular solids. Typical applications include level control in chemical storage tanks, wastewater treatment systems, and the food industry.
