FMR62

Radar measurement is a top-down measuring system based on the Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) principle. It transmits a linearly frequency-modulated signal and calculates the distance by analyzing the frequency difference between the received echo signal and the reference signal. The antenna transmits an FMCW signal, typically in the form of a triangular wave or sawtooth wave, with the frequency changing linearly within a defined range over time. When the transmitted signal reaches the surface of the medium, it is reflected back and mixed coherently with the reference signal to generate a beat frequency. By measuring the frequency difference of the beat signal, the signal travel time can be determined. The distance is then accurately calculated using the formula: Distance = (Wave velocity × Time difference) / 2 The instrument calculates the level height based on the measured distance and automatically converts it into the actual level value by combining it with the predefined empty tank height parameter. The FMCW technology provides strong interference resistance and high measurement accuracy, but with a relatively higher cost.
