The thermowell is designed in accordance with DIN 43772 and withstands most operating conditions. It is manufactured from tube or barstock, with a wide selection of diameters and materials available. The special thermowell tip design delivers short response time for more efficient process control. PTFE or tantalum outer sleeves enable service under corrosive conditions. Multiple process connections are offered: flanged, threaded, weld‑in adapter or compression‑fitting thread.
