Measuring principle:
Ozone concentration is measured using an amperometric principle. Ozone (O₃) diffuses through the sensor membrane and is reduced at the working electrode, while silver at the counter electrode is oxidized to form silver bromide. This electrochemical reaction generates a current proportional to the ozone concentration and is largely independent of pH over a wide measuring range. The transmitter converts the current signal into an ozone concentration value in mg/l (ppm).
