When high-temperature and high-pressure steam flows into the condensate siphon (condensing loop), the narrow inner bore accelerates the steam flow sharply. Benefiting from the long pipeline length yet relatively low heat conduction rate, the steam temperature drops rapidly and finally condenses into liquid. The condensed liquid accumulated inside the siphon flows through pipelines to the pressure gauge and delivers a low inlet pressure value. This structure enables the pressure gauge to safely measure pressure within high-temperature high-pressure steam systems. Condenser tubes realize medium cooling by lengthening the fluid flow path. Hot media gain sufficient time for heat exchange with ambient surroundings while travelling through the extended pipeline, resulting in temperature reduction. Such cooling protects internal assemblies of the pressure transmitter, including main boards, precision parts, O-rings and measuring movements, preventing thermal damage to these components.

Condenser tubes are primarily used to shield transmitters from thermal damage during high-temperature medium measurement. Specific application scenarios are listed as follows: - Steam pressure measurement**: Widely adopted for pressure detection on steam pipelines in petrochemical, power, papermaking and other industries. For instance, precise steam pressure monitoring is required for boiler systems in power plants to secure safe equipment operation. - High-temperature liquid measurement**: Pressure monitoring is essential for hot crude oil transportation pipelines in petroleum refining. Fitted condenser tubes effectively lower medium temperature to protect pressure transmitters. - High-temperature gas measurement**: Blast furnace gas pipelines in the metallurgical industry run at elevated temperatures. Condenser tubes guarantee stable operation of pressure transmitters under high-temperature working conditions. - Corrosive medium measurement**: When measuring pipeline pressure of corrosive acid and alkali solutions in chemical processes, condenser tubes provide isolation and protection for transmitters.
