A three-valve manifold consists of one high-pressure valve, one low-pressure valve and one equalizing valve. It is used to switch the connection status between the positive/negative pressure measuring chambers of differential pressure transmitters and pressure tapping points. Its working principles are specified below: - Measuring Mode: Open the high-pressure and low-pressure valves while closing the equalizing valve. The positive and negative pressure chambers connect to corresponding high and low pressure tapping points to enable normal differential pressure measurement by the transmitter. - Equalizing Mode: Shut off the high and low pressure valves and open the equalizing valve to interconnect the two measuring chambers for pressure balance, protecting the transmitter diaphragm capsule from unidirectional pressure load. - Calibration Mode: Close the high-pressure and low-pressure valves and open the equalizing valve to equalize pressure inside both chambers, allowing zero-point calibration of the transmitter.
