Measuring principle:

Total chlorine is measured using an amperometric principle. The sensor uses a membrane-covered two-electrode design with a platinum working electrode and a silver halide-coated reference electrode. Chlorine compounds diffuse through the membrane and undergo an electrochemical reaction under a constant polarization voltage, generating a current proportional to the total chlorine concentration. The transmitter converts the current signal into a concentration value in mg/l (ppm), with minimal influence from pH.
