FTS20

The float switch detects liquid‑level changes through the combined effect of buoyancy and magnetic force. Its core consists of a float, a magnet and a switch assembly. A permanent magnet is embedded inside the float, which moves up and down with liquid‑level variation. When the liquid level reaches the set point, the float brings the magnet close to the reed switch (or microswitch). The magnetic field closes / opens the contacts inside the reed switch (or mechanically triggers the microswitch), thus outputting an on‑off signal.

The FST20 float switch is used for liquid level limit detection, featuring simple operation and cost‑effective performance. It can be applied as a pump protector for oil tanks and vessels, or for level alarm in open tanks such as wastewater treatment plants. This float switch offers two output options: one NAMUR switch signal or one change‑over contact.
