The displacement-type level gauge consists of a sensor and a transmitter. The sensor is composed of a measuring chamber, a displacer, a lever, and a torque tube system. The displacer is immersed in the liquid medium within the tank or measuring chamber and is rigidly connected to the torque tube system, with the lever able to rotate around a pivot point. Changes in the density, level, or interface of the liquid medium in the measuring chamber cause the buoyant force acting on the displacer immersed in the tank or measuring chamber to vary, which in turn causes the torque tube to twist through a certain angle. The torque tube transmits this angular change to the transmitter section, which processes the signal and outputs the corresponding electrical signal.

The sensor section of the displacement-type level gauge features a simple and reliable structure, flexible installation options, and resistance to high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion. The transmitter section uses an original Fisher transmitter, ensuring stable performance. It is suitable for various flammable and explosive applications.
