Measuring principle:
Vortex flowmeter: Operates based on the Kármán vortex street principle. A non-streamlined bluff body (vortex shedder) is placed in the fluid flow, alternately generating regular vortices on both sides of the downstream. The vortex shedding frequency is proportional to the fluid velocity. By detecting the vortex frequency through piezoelectric or capacitive sensors, the volumetric flow rate can be calculated. Featuring rugged construction, no moving parts, wide turndown ratio, moderate accuracy, suitable for measuring flow of clean gases, steam, and liquids (such as water, solvents), outputting pulse or analog signals for process control and metering.
