‌Measuring principle of the bimetallic thermometer ‌is based on the deformation difference produced by two metals with different thermal expansion coefficients when temperature changes 。Specifically, A bimetallic thermometer uses two metals with different coefficients of linear expansion combined together, One end fixed, when temperature changes, The two metals expand differently with heat, causing the bimetal strip to bend, This bending drives the pointer to deflect through the transmission mechanism, thereby indicating the temperature ‌。

Radial type

Bimetallic thermometers are widely used in petroleum, Chemical industry, mechanical, Marine, Power generation, Textile, printing and dyeing and other industrial and research sectors, because they are mercury-free, Rugged and durable, and easy to read, Often used where high-precision temperature measurement is required 。
