The measuring principle of stainless steel pressure gauges relies on elastic deformation generated by the built-in stainless steel sensing element under pressure. This deformation is transmitted to the pointer via the conversion mechanism inside the gauge movement, driving pointer rotation to display the pressure value of the measured medium on the dial. Specifically, the measured medium flows through the process connection into the sensing element and causes displacement at its tip. Such displacement is amplified by connecting links and a transmission mechanism to drive the pointer, which indicates the corresponding pressure reading on the dial. A stainless steel pressure gauge consists of a pressure guiding system (process connection, Bourdon tube, flow restrictor screw, etc.), a gear transmission mechanism, an indicating assembly (pointer and dial), and an outer housing (case, bezel, gauge glass, etc.).
