Measuring principle:
The measuring principle of stainless steel diaphragm-seal pressure gauges relies on the deformation of elastic elements (i.e., diaphragms) to measure pressure. When the pressure of the measured medium acts on the diaphragm, the diaphragm deflects and compresses the sealing fluid inside the measuring system of the pressure gauge, generating a pressure difference (ΔP) equivalent to the pressure of the measured medium. If the diaphragm possesses sufficiently low rigidity, the pressure formed within the gauge’s measuring system approximates the pressure of the measured medium. Specifically, a diaphragm-seal pressure gauge forms a complete measuring system consisting of a diaphragm isolator and a general-purpose pressure gauge. As process pressure P acts on the diaphragm, the diaphragm deforms and compresses the fill fluid sealed inside the system, creating a pressure difference ΔP matching pressure P. This pressure is transmitted through the fill fluid and causes corresponding elastic deformation and displacement of the elastic element (such as a Bourdon tube) inside the pressure gauge. Finally, the measured pressure value is displayed in accordance with the operating principle of the matched pressure gauge.
