Measuring principle:

Guided wave radar transmitter: Based on Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) principle, it uses microwave pulses propagating along a metal rod or cable probe (waveguide) to measure level. When the pulse reaches the measured medium surface, it is partially reflected. The instrument precisely calculates the time difference between the transmitted and reflected pulses to determine the distance, which is then converted to level height. Its key advantage is the ability to reliably measure low dielectric constant media (such as liquefied gas, light oil), viscous liquids, levels under foam, or solid levels, with less influence from tank obstructions or vapor.
